Tam: What made you start your photo booth company?
Tam: You work full-time and are the CEO of Tickled Photo Booth Company. What drives you to continue to do both?
LS: Freedom. Financial freedom as well as the space to create and do whatever I want, basically, because I’m the boss. I know how that might sound, but it’s true. I can’t do that at my day job.
Tam: You have a law degree but a background in advertising. What was behind the decision to go to law school?
LS: I always wanted to go to law school, but had to get a degree in something to get there. Rather than doing what everyone else was doing and getting a degree in political science, I thought why not explore what else is out there and do something fun. I loved it, but never got to do advertising after I graduated undergrad. Once I became a lawyer, I always wondered what it would be like. I kind of get a taste for it by running my own business.
Tam: How would you describe your style?
LS: Minimal at the core. I like to keep things simple because I don’t have a lot of time these days to fuss over what to wear. But I’d also say classic and a bit retro.

Tam: Ok let's talk skincare. You have reeeaaaallly beautiful skin! And you're a low key product junkie. How and where do you find new skincare products that work for your skin?
LS: Thank you so much! My skincare routine is much like my style. I keep things really simple (despite how my counter looks!) and most days I just use good old fashioned water. However, I’m a sucker for the beauty department at Marshall’s and often find new products there to try.
Tam: What are three (3) things, people, or circumstances that you're thankful for?
LS: This year on my birthday, I woke up feeling grateful. Why?Typically on my birthday, I wake up feeling excited about whatever fun outing I have planned, and impulsively grab my phone to check my instagram and text messages to see who wished me a happy birthday. However, this year when I woke up, I felt different. I felt a unique peace, the sort of peace that only comes from reflecting on how far I’ve come. I realized that the things that I am grateful for year over year, suddenly had a deeper meaning. As I laid in my bed, I began reflecting and realized that I was grateful for my health; for the astuteness of my mind; for the sacrifices I have made for others and the sacrifices that others have made for me; and the abundant amount of love that I share with those in my life. This deep reflection was transformative enough to cause me to intentionally find new things to be grateful for in my life every day. So this Thanksgiving, I am grateful for everything in my life: those in my life, what I have, and who I am.
